Finally some cigars in the humi !!!

I was away with work in Gdansk, Poland this week and first thing I did was search for “cigar shops”.

Had a nice 15-minute walk across town and found a lovely merchant / lounge selling non-Cuban's so got some Plasenca and Olivia's.

As I was walking out the owner said “you should try the LCDH across the bridge”. I didn't even know it was there as didn't appear on Google maps as it had only opened a few weeks ago. Ironically it was opposite the rear of the hotel I was staying in !!!

Long story short the humi was absolutely packed full of Cubans. The most I've seen since pre-Covid times.

I didn't go too mad as just had to fork out £3k for a new boiler (plus they didn't take AMEX) but I'm back there in Feb / March.

Was in Lanzarote a few weeks ago and thought I'd try these el-cheapos from the local Hyperdino.

They were in a proper humidor in the corner of the shop and for €4.50 got x4 it was a no brainer. Thats about £1 each.

I am gobsmacked at how decent these things are for the money - they will now be my go-to fishing cigar for when I'm by the river.

My mates got a wedding next year and I even said to him he should buy x50 and whack them in a small table-top humi for the guests.
