  • The Current Cotswold Stick Collection

    Hi all.

New member here, so I thought I would set a humidor thread to show you all what I have been collecting over the past few months.

I've smoked cigars on special occasions since being in my early twenties, but over the last six months, I've started collecting more, and not just buying to smoke.

I love Cubans and New World cigars for different reasons, although my collection is more heavily weighted to the New World at the moment. I've been buying more singles and 5 packs than anything else at the moment, so I can smoke as widely as possible and truly understand what I like and what I don't.

Anyway, enough rabbiting on, I'll start posting pictures of what I've current got in the boxes!

    Illusione Cigars

I have three marques from Illusione Cigars, all doing a fairly different thing!

    Espernay Le Ferme (5.25 x 46) - Nicaraguan puro, with a Corojo 99 wrapper.

~ hi ~ Candela Lancero (7.5 x 40) - Rolled at Raíces Cubanas in Honduras, but constructed from Nicaraguan tobacco

Ultra Op #1 (6.5 x 56) - Nicaraguan puro of Corojo & Criollo, with a high amount of Ligero in the filler. New world at its best/worst! 😜🤣

Thanks for the warm welcomes, guys!

              Guardian of the Farm

Guardian of the Farm is a brand created in collaboration between Aganorsa, who grow and age the tobacco and Kyle Gellis of Warped Cigars who alongside Max Fernandez of Aganorsa blends each marque.

I like the boutique industry in the US / New World and for me, the concept of these blends really epitomises the spirit behind the approach: A coming together of farmers, blenders, factories and retail to create something unique and delicious.

There are three marques in the line, all of which I have in Lonsdale (6 x 44).

Apollo - Nicaraguan puro; A Corojo 99 wrapper from Jalapa, Corojo 99 binder. Corojo 99 & Criollo 98 filler.

Nightwatch - Another Nicaraguan puro; although this marque was blended only by Fernandez, the blend remains fairly similar to Apollo, with the exception of a Nicaraguan Shade Grown Corojo Maduro wrapper.

Cerberus - Gellis was back involved in the blending of this marque. In typical Aganorsa form, Corojo 99 and Criollo 98 form the bulk of the blend. However Cerberus has a Corojo 2012 wrapper.

Welcome. Some really useful pointers for NW examples for a year when CC can only get less accessible. Thanks.
