  • First Box Purchase...

    Evening Guys & Gals,

The new 300ct Humi was bought for a reason - to get me some boxes and lay 'em down for a spell...

So today was the 'Cherry Breaker' for me; and what a purchase:

    Cohiba Behike 52

Love the packaging - I'm a freak for this sort of thing...

    IMG_1151.jpg
Beautiful wooden box - a work of art on it's own, eh?

    IMG_1154.jpg
    And now, the good stuff...

The box code says "TEU SEP 10" - almost a year old already, I guess?

These babies are going to sleep now, for a few years I reckon, until their first outing in, say, 2015...at the earliest - best I forget them, else I crack into 'em.

So, the old 75ct Humi is now home to NC's:

And the new 300ct Humi is my Cuban Habanos Haven!:

Got a bunch more sticks coming to 'bed down' with the LFdC's (Simon's split) for a spell.

    Have a great evenings y'all,
    Steve

        Health warnings...

Lovely box to be laying down. I simply don't have that kinda cash to spend on a 10 box...

Wow, what a beaut...great purchase! Are you going to lay them all down for a few years, or try one periodically to see how they are developing?

You know what Detriot, I'm not sure if I'll be 'sampling' a stick from time-to-time, along the way, or holding off for a decent period...

Enjoying the fact you have gone nuts deep on the first box. The Humi looks great too.

Great purchases Thang .... expensive to the point of insanity, but great purchases!
If you want to, you can.
And, if you can, you must!

I don't think you can top that for a first purchase, excellent stuff!

Yeah...best not discuss this with the wife, eh?

Mind you, I've still got to broach the subject of last years En-Primeur madness purchase of a case each of Chateau Tertre-Roteboeuf and Bonneau du Martray Corton-Charlemagne...

Still, all I need to do is get her into Cigars (as much as she is into wine) and the jobs a good'un, eh?

Loving the wine purchase too, extremely jealous.
