I can count all the NCs I would pay for on one hand. Tatuaje T110, Padilla 1932 Lanceros (original release rolled by Don pepin) Fuente BTL and WOAM. I had a thing for the NC RYJ Real Reservas for a while too. I had a great diesel unholy cocktail once but it seems it was an exception as none others lived up to the first one I smoked.

I've tried hundreds of others from Padrons to Alec Bradleys, Rocky Patels to Oliva. None have wowed me. Buy cubans instead.

I'd have to agree that Padron cigars are pure class...plus the staple AF Short Story...

C'mon all you NC haters - dig deep and admit that you're too scared to see what you're missing (ooh, a bit controversial that one, eh?)

If there was no such thing as a Trinidad in my Humi, then I would be extremely satisfied with....
    E.P. Carrillo Core Line Regalias Real (5.625 x 46)
    Leon Jimenes 300 Series Robusto (5 x 50)

    Both excellent!

I have to add two that have made me go 'wow'.

The Oliva Serie V Belicoso - smooth and leathery with hints of spice
Quarum Torpedo - mellow, earthy texture with a refreshing after taste.

Both can be enjoyed with a pale ale as you don't want to over power the flavours!

Don Pepin Garcia Black label ... the only cigar that I have smoked that's better than these was a Behike 56. The first time I had one was on a Saturday night; I was shocked at how good it was. I had had a few drinks and suspected I found it was so so good because of the alcohol. So next day I went back to De la Concha, the shop where I bought it in New York and asked for another to smoke in the cold light of a Sunday lunchtime. It was every bit as good.

I definitely seem to be missing something with this cigar. I've had two now, and I just couldnt get to grips with it at all. I found it a rather dull smoke both times...Which I know is controversial as there are a good handful who really like them! Which is why I tried them in the first place. I think I'm going to give this one more go maybe this weekend, before putting it in the permanent no list!

Try the Alec Bradley Tempus range, both the standard and maduro wrappers were a 'wow' for me. Best NCs I have ever smoked although my experience of NCs is relatively limited.

I can confirm that this is a great cigar, although i think Padrons are better than most cubans.....yes i know, it sounds wrong to say but very true
