Scratch Oliva, OK some of them. Padron on the other hand, and most AF and anything Garcia & Garcia are more than pretty damn good, they're mighty damn good. At lot of the Boutique brands are excellent too. SOSA for one.

Tats I must admit have not really done a lot for me, and the Gurkha's I've tried have been little better than compost.

Im going to say now ive tried some more the Oliva V torp and double robusto are great along with the Arturo Fuente Anejo Maduro 50 (yes i had to copy paste that) and for some decent cheap sticks the Oliva G Robusto is just right up there and for only ?6 each cummon you cant knock that.

The Tatjue T110 - but don't expect to find these anywhere.

    Also:
The The Oliva Serie V Belicos was nice, along with an Alec Bradley Presnado Corona Gorda.

Seriously, you won't regret having spent the dough on such a great NC! In my opinion, the Oliva V Torpedo is one of the best in a great line of NCs!

Ive tried a few NCs now and ive found a few of the cheap and cheerful bundles can be pretty good if you can find them The flor de oliver maduro cigars are pretty good along with flor de todo also the 5 packs of Toscano Classicos float y boat because they are something completely different and for ?20 thats 20quid well spent in my books.

I'm rather inexperienced with NCs but the one I smoked yesterday was a very good cigar indeed....Rocky Patel "the edge" Topredo. Full bodied, lots of flavour (leather, earth, cocoa and something else I couldnt really figure out...something caramel like) with cool near perfect draw. Maybe it was my mood and the company of good friends, but I didnt expect such an enjoyable smoke for a NC....I will definately try this again.

The other NC I tried and concidered a good smoke was the Oliva V torpedo. The problem with this one though is that with a price of 12+ quid it comes against far superior cuban alternatives.

Before anyone has a tantrum, i do prefer CC's over NC's
I have found the same, NC's seem to be more consistent if a little loose sometimes, I was told to send plugged Cigars back to the vendor for a replacement ???, anyone got any thoughts on this.

Hmmm difficult one this, I do love many NC's as for WOW though:

Oliva V Lancero, the others are very good but the Lancero baing thinner derives more flavour from the wrapper, they're awesome.
Padro Aniversaro 1926 Maduro is just kick ass.
Alec Bradley Tempus, I've had half a dozen of these, two were wow, the others a little less so, complicated little bugger, may get a box just to see.
    Carlos Torano Exodus.....yum yum.
La Aroma de Cuba Robusto (NC edition) I know i'll probably get berated for this but they're just so plump, pretty and tasty
.....and yep yep, the AF SH as always, the Hemingway Classic is nice too.
La Estrella Cubana, not the most amazing smoke but when you factor in the cost WOW is all you can say.

That's the thing, I usually get a real buzz from quite a lot of cigars but I got nothing from this one :/
