  • Padron standard line Churchill, press or no press?

Just enjoying one of these as we speak in the maduro wrapper. Flawless burn, draw, taste etc... but the shape seems to be a bit lumpy along its length. Has anybody else noticed this? It leads me to wondere if they use a press? Can anyone shed any light? They are slightly boxpressed so it could be that they just go back to the shape of the bunch whilst in the box?..
Beautiful cigar though at a very good price point!

I've never had the Churchills, but Padron 2000s (robustos) also tend to be a bit lumpy, and the wrappers have quite a rough texture. I have no idea why, and it never seems to affect the draw, burn or taste. Basically they smoke brilliantly and taste great but look badly constructed. In other words they're really ugly! I'd also be interested to know why though.
If you want a midget to look like a baby, don't put a cigar in his mouth.
