The Padron 1926 (some special edition) came out very high in the Cigar Aficionado Best Of 2008 list just published. I must say, Joe, that cigar you sent me was a rich and wonderful smoke all in all.

Where might a man get a few of those easily over here in the UK at a reasonable price, I wonder?

You know me Bryan, I'm always happy to send a stick or two your way my friend. As for buying Padrons, they are sometimes hard to come by; especially the 80th and 40th anniversary which I believe you might have seen in Cigar Afic. They run about $25 a piece and I think they are all gone for the year. I'll kick over a couple of #6s to you. Check the mail in a week or so.

For my money, the best cigar, pound for pound (or even ₤ for ₤), I've ever smoked. Simply fantastic.

            It was beautiful. Awesome.
I lit up in my garage and HAD TO make a phone vid because it was a sublime cigar moment for me.
            Wunderbar, meine Freunde!

Since I am the new guy here I think it Is appropriate to tell you that I would like to thank you all for letting me in your farum.
I hope we will all have a good time.

I smoke Non cubans on a regular basis and I have a big stock in Tatuaje(very cubanesque), Opus X, Oliva V and my favourite Padron 1926 and 1964. Also I have now some Casa Magna robusto and I find them to be very good cigars for the money.

I had one a few months ago. Good cigar. Tastes a lot like the Cohiba (DR) black which is a maduro connecticut wrapper. I would say it is medium bodied and a smooth, slightly sweet taste. Nice draw and burn as well. Enjoy!
