I see this won number one cigar 2015 with Cigar Aficionado. Anyone tried it before? It's on my list of smokes I'd like to sample.

It was on my list to try and pick up while on holiday this year in the US but I never managed to come
across it in any of the stores I visited.

I wouldn't pay too much attention to CA's list, it tends to be led by advertising contribution.

That is a criticism of any magazine I guess. But I somehow doubt that they really skew the results for ad money. They either blind test or don't. Or is there anything that became public that I haven't heard of? I also doubt that Habanos would pay them to place their cigars in the top 25 all these years when the US market was closed to them.

Wow! I didn't know it got the 1st place! I am getting a few in February 2016 to try. I have La Antiguedad those look amazing will try soon also got El Centurion rare and special as they say

I've a couple in the humidor (not torpedo, double robusto) that I picked up in NYC in 2009. Good cigar like a lot of Pepin Garcia's, but the best of 2015, I don't know about that.

I managed to get my self the toro version as a sampler, Was waiting till it gets a bit warmer to smoke, bit to cold in the evening at the moe!
