  • Metal cigar box prints

    Hiya guys

Rescued a large amount of metal cigar prints from a skip. All the prints are reversed so I'm assuming when stamped the correct image will be printed on the box.

Just wondering is their any value in these? Haven't gone through all the brand's yet, can pop up some pictures later

Will depend on what they are, get the pics up buddy

I should be able to take pics and then mirror the image, showing what it stamps

Looks like you've come across some real treasures there, chico. But before we get down to business, it's customary for new members to tell us a little about themselves at the "newbie greets" forum. Take a look and introduce yourself to the fine lads that frequent this forum.

It's a very random situation in which I have started working in a cigar making factory that has been in business since the 70s, and in that time it seems that nothing has ever been dumped, literally nothing. Well until now that is, a big clean up is under way.

Hopefully there's more gems to unearth while the clean up gets underway

Found some nice hand carved boxes from India that were shipped over in 1998.

Have a few more pictures but uploading them onto this site is ridiculously slow, just wasted about 45 minutes.

You've got some great finds there. I'm sure you'll be able to find good homes for them, but no idea of value.

If there was a narrow corridor in a pub, usually one leading to a bathroom, and you had some of the prints on one wall and a mirror on opposite wall. I'm not too concerned with selling them and it will probably be around Christmas before I go through all of them. I actually stuck one up on eBay but the thought of doing it for all of them would melt my head.

I will take a few more pics if I see some interesting ones

Quite a few guys have 'man caves' where they retire to smoke and get away from SWMBO and these would go down a storm as cigar related decoration.
