I thought that was just Cubans but could be wrong. I would love to see their monopoly of the market broken though.

Indeed, although they may import other cigars, Habanos are H&F's only monopoly as far as I am aware.

Yup - H&F are the exclusive Habanos importer for UK region. Much like there is one habanos importer for each region. The last bastion of true uncontested monopoly. Well not really. Many importers have exclusivity in various sectors. http://www.habanos.com/en/distribuidoresexclusivos/ There are other issues that affect pricing here too. But the market seems to support it!!

I have met Mike & he is an extremely affable chap, previous [COLOR=rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.9)] Habanosommelier,[/COLOR]o f the year, previously worked in Bulgari Hotel Cigar Lounge under [COLOR=rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.9)]with Edward Sahakian.[/COLOR] He has been to Antwerp a couple of times & is certainly passion about cigars & travel. Had a long notice this was the way he won't to go, as you know I am not keen of NC's but I'll at least put one order in to support this fledgling business.
