Had one, got it from Tesco I think .... don't really remember smoking it, so doubt I was much impressed.

Bloody hell, how old is this thread. I think Methuselah was still alive when Montesmoke started it!

Don Ramos was one of my first propper cigars, they are a nice smoke but nothing special. I hear lots of bad things about Gurkha, but as Rokkit says they make so many smokes some are awful and some are good!

back when i started smoking cigars i smoked a fair few Don Ramos and i really enjoyed them, found them mild to medium not complex in the slightest but very enjoyable. perfect for a beginner!

Only ever tried one of these from the Don Ramos range but my stick was old, dry and dusty. I smoked about an inch and a half and chalked it up to experience. A properly kept example probably tastes far better though.

Let us know what you think!

Hi. I just finished smoking the Churchill Don Ramos. Very easy smoke, good taste and took about 1hr 15mins to smoke. I usually smoke Jose L Piedra which I really enjoy. Out of 10 I would give the Don Ramos 9.

    Cheers
