This same genius, or maybe slightly twisted mind, also created the CAIN line of cigars. These are even more orgasmic than the NUB, I want to be drowned in these TWICE please.

He has announced, on this forum, that there has been a horrible shipping accident. A crate of NUBs and another of CAINs had a "dangerous liaison" when nobody was looking; the horrific love child that resulted, the CAIN NUB, is soon to be released upon the world. I have already dropped my trousers and assumed the position in anticipation!

Dripping with Nub juice, trousers down, Sounds like a great idea for a picture opportunity again....
Would have to be published on one of the more "specialist" sites though.

and yes nubs are great, always have a big stash of them to hand

I'm hoping to get some of this Nub action on my next NC order. The sampler was sold out when I asked last. Have some Cain Maduros on the way tho.

I bought a box of 10 about a week ago and I lit up my first one late Sunday evening. I really should write up a full review ASAP, but all in all I found lots of coffee and chocolate notes, a bit of spice and overall, an excellent smoke indeed. However, during the final third it started to show its age a bit and I found it became a touch bitter. Not all that nice at all I'm afraid. Ultimately though, it was definitely saved by the first 2/3 which were absolutely excellent.

Right now I'm thinking of A) Letting them settle in a humi for a few more weeks regardless or B) Simply laying them down for a good few years! If you get a good box - and by way of aroma I'm fairly contented with mine - then I'm sure there's a lot to be said for ageing them.

I'd be really interested to know what you find!

For me, the Nub today was much preffered to the Duke(s) I've had. It's all a personal taste thing tho... as I really didnt like the Oliva V or R&J CCs - but love Cohiba Siglo VI/Robustos and H-Uppmanns.

The only thing holding me back from ordering a box of 24 Connecticut Torpedos is wanting to try the others from the sampler! That said, if I make it to the weekend without ordering it will be a miracle... there's always room in the humidor for a good selection!

Good on you . I try to keep a couple of boxes worth at all times, some weeks I smoke more than one a day. As for the Cains, stunning cigars, big and strong. Personally I prefer the habano to the maduro, but both are good.

Wow, this looks/reads like Nub mania. I havent tried one yet, so I really cant comment. I will say that the legnth doesn't thrill me (sorta speak), as I like to settle down and enjoy my smoke for at least 45min...down to the Nub.
That being said I will have to try one some day.
                DB Out!

might be better now, dunno about the necessary number of posts.

Anyways, if it's not in the next week, it'll be soon enough

But I could definitely use some help to find some of these NC's. Talking about this, Mike gave me your email adress now that I think of it! it was about helping one of your BOTL who lost his job or something like this.

I am happy to participate, but I need to get the goods first

The smallest will last you a good 45 minutes to an hour, the larger 466T's will last about an hour and a half, don't be fooled by the length, they last ages

Just finished up the 'Nub 464 Habano Torpedo Sungrown' from the sampler. Very pleasing indeed and my favourite. Think I'll be going for a box of the 466's though as I prefer the shape over the Torp.

Just remember the sungrown is called the Habano now, so don't think your going mental if you can't find them lol

Ive only had the Nub Conneticut, dont know about numbers tho... However it was one of the nicest cigars ive tried, just wish it was longer, but then it wouldnt be a Nub i guess... About to light up the Nub Habano, again no numbers, where are people getting numbers from?

The numbers are the size bud. 4 for 4 inches and the last 2 for the ring gauge. You also get T for torp, and BPT for box press torp

and the BPT is one of the oddest things I've seen . Is it square? Round? Torp? A nasty orgy of the 3? Smells good tho when I give it a good snozzhike
