Hmm! I'll be sparking up a MOW Ruination in a few minutes. Will return with my thoughts (CCR) later.

        Have a good evening, muchachos!

CCR - Man O' War Ruination

Well muchachos, I finally got my lips around this much ballyhooed stogie.

          Here's My Review....

The Pre lit fragrance was a lovely, warm chocolate/tobacco. And the draw was sweet. But as soon as I sparked up this bad boy and took in mouthful of smoke, I though Catalina Joy had shot me in the face with pepper spray
! (The last time this happened was when I was working on my night moves in the summer of '69.)

Quite a punch on the first few draws and I thought to myself - Oh Dear..
..what have I gotten myself in to!!! After that, the stick began to settle down and mellow out a bit during the second third. So I decided to take a walk around don TJ's hacienda and soldier on.

The lovely gray/white ash was still intact at this point and would have hung on longer if I hadn't brushed up one against a cactus (OUCH!). Good time to purge this beast, I thought. So after a mighty purge, the stick continued to smoke on the full side, yet smooth,...almost velvety, all the way to the NuB!

Unfortunately, my pallet is not as talented as others around these parts, so I am unable to distinguish the subtle flavors, but I think I detected hints of chocolate wrapped in coffee/ pepper/ tobacco. The flavors lingered on for some time after I put this baby to rest.

Mmm! Overall, not too bad for a N/C. I look forward to trying another after a few days rest.

          Thanks for reading!

Nice review there, TJCactus--I don't have the developed palate either, but those descriptions sound about right to me. Never hurts to have another!

I like the Ruination too TJ, MoW seem to be coming out with great cigars on both sides of the flavour and power spectrum

Methinks it's the bag--we can't see behind it, so we'll name you what we like until there is a final reveal. Oh yes, and then there is that TJCoro moniker that keeps accompanying your posts. But what does it matter as long as someone, whoever it is (and who is anyone anyway?), is enjoying a good smoke.

By the by, ought the bag not have a third hole, or does the bag come off?

Here here, and if a third hole, has there never been a Micheal Jackson Effect?
