NUB
Nub is a line of short, stout, and well-filled smokes blended to capture the perfect essence of a cigar and hailed as one of the most innovative cigar concepts. These cigars are 100% hand made with a densely packed long filler, allowing each stick to burn slowly while maintaining a comparable smoking time to conventional sizes ranging from robusto to presidente.
Over the past five years, the Oliva Family has left a substantial mark n the cigar industry. As one of the world's most reputable cigar makers, their highly rated blends can only be found at the most reputable tobacconists throughout the world. In 2007, Cigar Afficionado awarded an unprecedented 94 to the Olivia Series "V" line. In addition to that honor, it was designated as the top new release of that year. Nub creator, Sam Leccia had an easy choice choosing to partner with the flawless reputation of Oliva.
Leccia was always fascinated with a cigar's natural tendency to fully develop in strength and flavor about 1/3 of the way into the cigar, which deemed the "sweet spot". Lecia always said that the "sweet spot" was typically temporary and short lived, and with the help of the Oliva family, set out to create a compact smoke that could capture that "sweet spot" from start to finish. The Olivia family quicklyrealized that Sam made an incredible discovery.
