  • Alec Bradley Project 40 Cigars

    Afternoon folks,

Have any of you fine people experienced any of these cigars? (Silly question I would imagine on here ) I am looking for a nice daytime smoke at a reasonable price and these have caught my attention as a friend of mine is willing to part with a couple at a reasonable price. I have tried the Black Market petit corona but I must admit I was not overly impressed although I can't really pass judgement as I have only ever smoked one stick.

    As always, thanks in advance,
    Wayne

Black Market are budget ABs so don't use them as a benchmark, Alec Bradley are really well made and the Project 40 are certainly worth trying.

Thank you PeeJay for your advice. On the back of that I will go ahead and buy a few. He has a few available for me along with some in the Maduro wrapper so I will give them a go also. All the best to you.

Have only tried in Churchill vitola and if memory serves me right it was half decent with some good flavours

I seem to remember it had lots of the Connecticut style nutty and cedar flavour, as opposed to the dark, more 'maduro' flavours. So I'd say definitely worth trying to get a taste for that type of cigar if you havent already

I'm not sure if they're available on these shores yet but the three new cigars from Alec and Bradley (sons) are better than most Alan Rubin (father) has produced bar the Prensado Lost Art for some time.

They are Kintsugi, Blind Faith and The Gatekeeper.

A few years on, but would be interested to know what you thought of these if you can recall? I have one (Robusto Maduro) I'm looking forward to (based on multiple people's feedback), so I'm trying some others I bought in a sampler to give me something to compare to.
