Oddly I've been smoking St James's flake completely by chance today; it was my pottering about the woodland smoke this morning, in a cob.

I suspect I hadn't rubbed it out terribly well, as a poor draw, a great "fthlurp" noise, and a big chunk of tobacco in my mouth showed I'd managed to suck said chunk down the shank, through the cardboard filter and up the stem.

More practice required!

Wow Moose that's not sipping! I am smoking another 5050 mix of bullseye and navy flake. It's been packed waiting to be smoked for over a week.im having it with some coffee to drink, the beans are a dark continental roast, they are coated in some sort of oil, not seen it before, might be to improve the flavour..?

It was a good smoke, got more of the pudding flavour out of it this time. Although it did gurgle towards the end.

Tobacco of the month in a freshly cleaned cob. Cubed and then broken up more but not dried at all. 1/2 a flake's lasting ages.
