is that the sutliffe? i bought a pound of that custard and just keep going back to it. it's so smokable, an easy sip or full on quick smoke chugging on it.never gets bitey or too harsh. i pull a jar out of the bag at a time and its surprising how quickly the jar goes down while the other around it remain full!
Haven't a clue its the one you split with me!!! and I agree... smooth as butter.
Rolled the cricket squares today while enjoying a well filled bowl.... not sure I could have had a more perfect morning- sun out, working legs and back while vanilla custard smouldered away in a cob!

Might be a bit late on seeing it... when I ordered it was between OG and Hal O the wynd, I was sent a sample of Hal and prefer Old Gowrie from the Rattrays
Nice taste and room note would you say Alex
putting an order in soon for a couple of tins
never tried the rattray range in all the years of pipe smoking
What are your thoughts on the rattray old gowrie
anyone that's tried it .
I haven't tried it
You know what I had I thought the other night..
Pipe tobacco if the month???
Could be shout if there is enough if us?.. Buy a tin, dish it out see what we all think, don't know if its been done before I'm relatively new still
I have been meaning to see how many bowls out of a tin ect and how it would split between so many for a few bowls.
Give us all a chance to try something without getting a tin in.. Just there are so many to try and if its a couple of quid and you don't like it no biggie!
