  • Yes, St Bruno is certainly a tobacco that I enjoy smoking on occasions.

      • nice one Chris! [emoji6]
        another wee bowl after lunch.
I've smoked all sorts but dry pipe tobacco is new for me. This Bruno is the 4th I've tried and tops the list followed by tewksbury hobbit.

        • Can't beat a bit of Bruno in your pipe, the pipe's best friend.

          • I do enjoy a bowl of St. Bruno and have just tried condor too, both are nice for a change. I did manage to get a small sample of condor plug from a Facebook friend, very nice it is too. A very strong nicotine hit from it, but a really surprisingly smooth smoke.
Common sense is not a gift, it's a punishment as you have to deal with everyone who doesn't have it!

            • Find with condor even though it tastes nice the room aroma is not the same.
where st. Bruno leaves a nice room note.

Really can't comment on the room note as I do most of my smoking outdoors.

Gone for a try of the gaslight pease this eve. Smokin outdoors & the neighbours slammed their window so the mustn't like the room note much [emoji6] the block does smell a bit like diesel [emoji23]

                    • A bit of rum twist tonight. Hard to get the pack/burn right with this thin stuff.

                        • Yes I cut coins off & rubbed it but I think the bowl I used is too small for this type, I'll have the rest in a different pipe.

The drawback to this blend is its burning qualities the problem is that it doesn't burn at all, I can't get it to stay lit for longer than five minutes no matter what I try

Ah ok I see. Wouldn't improve with a bigger bowl then? I'll wait until I get my angled pipe lighter in the post then. Thank you Tony

                              • I've found that it benefits from some good drying time once rubbed out and separated. Try some after an hour or so
