@Paulie2876 It's ok. Mild and sweet. Not much going on, but it's pleasant. I tend to smoke it while i'm busy doing other things

Often been tempted to give the Carter Hall a try, how did you find it?

A new one for me, not the darkest or strongest as the tun suggests, but a very pleasent natural sweet smoke

Thanks for the information, sounds like a tobacco to check out.

I have been piping away, but this is the first time in a while I've opened a new tobacco. It's fairly plain and simple Mac Baran "Classic Flake" (formerly a vanilla Flake apparently). It smelled excellent out of the tin, and it's tasty stuff. It tastes of vanilla with hints of almonds and maybe walnuts. It also is very well behaved right out of the tin.

    Yum!

I've discovered Germain's Royal Jersey Perique Mixture, that's what I'm smoking, whilst the sky falls.

Cheers! The bowl is quite narrow but not unreasonably small. A bowl of full Virginia flake lasts me about 30 mins, ready rubbed a little less. I'd been looking at Bruno's pipes for ages and finally took the plunge a few months ago - wasn't disappointed.
