It always surprises me though, as what it lacks in timber, it seems to compensate for in bowl.

I was told olivewood gets hot but this poker is quite substantial and burns nice and cool, other than thati treat it just like i do my briars

Okay, thanks for the information. It good to hear about this.I have not come across an olivewood pipe. Your pipe certainly looks a fine one so pleased to know it is also a good one to smoke.
