hey all,
not having the time to enjoy a cigar this evening, i thought i'd bust out the pipe for a change! out of all of the small samples i bought from smoke-king, i thought i'd revisit peterson's sherlock holmes!
http://www.peterson.ie/pipes/sherlock-holmes.html
the flavours and aromas from this tobacco were lovely! i got strong malty flavours, not unlike strong black assam tea, a little bit of peat not unlike an islay single malt, orange, caramel and honey! the aromas were very autumnal, like freshly trodden on leaves and damp woodland.....
all in all, a very pleasant and enjoyable smoke! a nice way to spend 15-20mins in the cold rather than resorting to cuban minis!
