Perhaps a simple first pipe smoker's guide would be a good sticky, it seems more complicated than just lighhting up a cigar.

My grandfather used to have gawith and hoggarths plug tobacco and a flake tobacco he used to mix together , a truly lovely aroma and I think he enjoyed preparing and packing his pipe nearly as much as smoking it

The smell of a pipe has always been one of my favourite smells and I've found myself eyeing these a lot recently:

Haha! Yes...yes, that was a golden age when smokers roamed freely throughout the land!

So do what we do....live in a remote area of planet earth and avoid flat-landers as much as possible. A place where you're free to smoke fine puros and wear funny hats!

Despite wearing a peaked cap or helmet for 30 years MLW thinks I look ridiculous in a hat. The Cohiba one I took on holiday was the only one I've ever got away with. As for my OSOK bandana, that's now a table cloth in the man cave!

I'm currently working on a pouch of my grandads favourite blend. It's nothing stunning but I appreciate the link to my childhood especially as I have his old pipe tool too.
