nice looking turks head, a meer always smokes cool and zero flavour change. I have 3 myself now 1 carved and 2 uncarved.

Theres an argument that meer colours better if you wear cotton gloves as the oils from your hands can supposedly interfere with the colouring of the mineral as it gets hot.

Are you interested in getting the best colour out of your pipe? If so it's a subject in and of it's self. Some bees wax and cotton gloves will get you started.

How do you do that Marc? I have some bees wax in block form that I use on loose stems

Just had a smoke of some latakia junction in this. It was a very cool ten minute smoke and totally changed the flavour of the baccy. I think I'll be smoking this a bit more

Nice one Paulie. I've not subscribed to a full Meer, and I don't profess to know a good one from a lesser. However, I've a couple of Meer lined pipes and they provide an unadulterated, honest representation of what's in the chamber IMO.
