Vladimir Yershov, from Rostov-on Don, is a craftsman who specialises in making traditional Cossack and Turkish clay tobacco pipes by an old method. The unique pipes are sold to private collections worldwide, as well as museums in Russia, the Czech Republic and Japan

I saw that post and the baffling but somehow enticing three chimney pipe. But I agree with Demeter, the last pic is almost the best because it is so evocative. I've been having a crapola morning so am going to take a longer lunch break (now I've been rudely cancelled on), and will use the time to evocate in a cloud of smoke :-)
