So a last min sampler, of Pesse Canoe Oriental flake comprising of Virginia and Turkish Oriental, so tin note boy oh boy 100% pure Fry's Turkish delight that's all I get from this like massively so, not just a hint of it but close my eyes and this is a block of Fry's, so that's milk chocolate and Turkish delight.
The flakes crumble to the point its almost like a crumble cake though not quote, packs easy and lights incredibly easily, first thing that hits you is Virginia grassy playing with the orientals sour note, which then takes the immediate lead its sour.
Then as you start puffing a spice is on the tongue and then get on the retro and that Turkish delight flavour no where near as strong as the note but noticeable is apparent, and then the spice becomes more pronounced and rounded by the intial grassy notes and finally the Virgina's reveal a slight fruitiness all blending with the above mentioned notes.
No smokiness to this at all, its just a very sweet sour spicy smoke absolutely delightful an incredible relaxing smoke which after a stress filled day was great to just sit and puff for a solid 20 min (I didn't fill my bowl and used a corn cob)
The room note is very pleasant almost perfume like leaving the room with a smell of chocolate and Turkish delight with warm spices filling the room.
This is a beautiful quality smoke, certainly not one dimensional but rich and multi faceted.
