True dat amigo....I struggle to drink any UK-brewed lagers full-stop. I seldom drink anything other than Hoegaarden these days

Haha not as bad as Carlsberg! And hoegaarden is from my home town Stevie, tastes even better over there.

To be honest I don't like Hoegaarden

I think I have said it elsewhere on this forum already I do enjoy German beers, I have very good memories of a night out in Munich at the Hofbrauhaus, even the music there is the best music to get drunk to!

Of course my memories may be seen through rose-tinted glasses as it was the first time I drunk my Dad under the table!! 😄

(As you may be able to tell, I'm not exactly the world's biggest Fosters fan... I should probably take a step back and, breathe... Sorry. )
That's exactly what I say about Carling lol. I'll admit Foster's aint the best or most complex lager, but it's light, straight forward and really refreshing if you're parched. It depends on my mood though. As long as I have Guiness, Corona and Fosters I'm all set for beer for whatever I feel like.

I would say that about 95% of my cigars are accompanied with a Corona though.

              I know 😊

I meant that I like German beers generally, not that Hoegaarden was German!

Hmmmmm, heard the Mexicali blokes find Coronas to be shite. It's kinda like how everyone here in Canada and the USA finds heniken to be awesome but you Europians find it to be horse hepatitis piss.
Ugh, where's don TJcoro when you need him??

Heineken's okay, but I know what you mean.

I was saying to some Americans a while back how great the food is over there compared to here (well, the good food anyway), and they couldn't have disagreed more.

There's is some unfamiliar German beer that my cousin's room mate (who's official job description is 'Beer Guru') told me was the best he had ever tasted. He was fucking right!!! I just wish I could remember the name of the damn thing.

Oh, was it a specific restaurant though? Or just the food overall? You mates do have more selection. Thats for sure true.
But i cant lie, the BEST appetiser I've ever had was on the thames: shredded rabbit (cold) on pumpernickel or sourdough (cant remember right now).

Guess it's just the smaller, lesser known, or DIFFERENT foods/beers that makes people like other culture's foods (or hate their own culture's )

Tried Ghost Ship yesterday. Didn't get a chance to have a smoke with it, but it was a pretty awesome beer.
