  • Innis & gunn original scottish beer review

So today i sampled this first time i have seen it but looked good from the off.

Packaging states its a smooth beer with hints of toffee vanilla and oak. This beer has been hand crafted and matured for at least 77 days in american heartwood oak barrels.

On the first sip the beer was smooth and could taste a hint of scotch in the background with very cream vanilla tones. First bottle i drank out of the bottle which was enjoyable but once second bottle opened i tried pouring into a glass to get a little head seemed to give it more of a subtle flavour throughout.

So thats my first ever review of anything EVER haha am going to go enjoy the rest of these and maybe a cheeky smoke

O forgot to say labeling was real detailed and liked the sign off signature from master brewer and approver for the bottling

So little update av now finished all my beers and smoked a stick with it. Really good match i think the toffee sweetness of the beer goes well with the bitterness of a cigar i would get some deffo to try. I know i will be and on offer in tesco 4 for ?6 bargain

    thanks for reading

Nice review. I love this beer too. The rum finish one is nice with a cigar as well.

Ifyou’re looking for another great Innis & Gunn to go with yournext cigar the Spiced Rum is a great one. A little more spicy thanjust the regular provides a nice rounded complement to any cigar onthe slightly sweeter side.
