Anyone a fan of the Irish stuff

I have a few bottles on site due to the high number of Irish golf members at club

I quite like them at times as due to the triple dis tilling process they are far more softer and rounded than the Scottish but I find them to have a more sweeter finish

Anyone a fan of some of these I like them all at the right time

I like some.... But others I find acidic and they strangely give me heartburn. Jameson's I can only stand with Stones ginger wine in a Whiskey Mac, which it is excellent in. Bushmills is much better as is Tullamore.

Connemara is getting better, as is Tyrconnell which has some fantastic products.

I like the Jamiesons & it has the advantage of being available most places you go.

Jamesons was all they had in varadero when i went. drowned in that stuff
just wish they had redbreast too...... love that stuff as well.

oh and midleton. mmmmmm.. if it wasn't so damn expensive, it'd be a staple in my collection

Don't mind the odd drop of Jamieson's but generally don't find the Irish whiskies as interesting as scotch. Still pleasant though.
