    Canadian whisky



    Quite like the Canadian whiskys picked a bottle of Seagrams very old 70s about a year ago and loved it was lucky enough in December to find another old bottle yet to be opened
    It does seem that you cannot get much choice of Canadian whisky in the UK even the normal web companies don't have any
    These are the only two I have however I do have an old bottle of Crown Royal bottled in 1967 after 15 years maturing so distilled in 1952 it's in cabinet at home will add photo later
    Any suggestions where I can sample some more as I know there are lots but all the best stuff seems to stay within canada or the usa

    Regular Canadian Club is so shite...... but seagrams is nice and I'm curious to what 70s seagram is like!

      I have only ever had Canadian Club and that was a long time ago. I remember thinking it's more a mixing whisky...... Now that old bottle of Seagrams, that's just asking to be drank! Haha

      Seeing your old bottles on here could get dangerous for my wallet, especially if I ever get down to one of those auctions.

        You know these old whiskeys I get are normally bin ends at wine auctions cellar clearance so they don't pay much attention to them he he got loads of stuff will post when revelent to thread
        I am off to a large auction on Saturday in Waltham abbey liquidated stock mainly interested in the wines and whiskey but there is also loads of electricals as well

              Crown royal 20 and Canadian club 20 is also excellent
              Don't think others are bad after having a few bad college mornings with the standard production
