Paddy Irish Whiskey

Just got a bottle of this from tesco half price at ?13.99.
Dont know what type it is ? Tastes ok

It's an Irish blend made in the same distillery as Jameson's, if I recall correctly it's quite sweet.

Would be hard to find a whisky thats 'bad' having said that im now teetotal so maybe that says it all!!!

I just don't get Whiskey at all, just burns my throat and makes me shudder (in a bad way). I can't differentiate the different tastes at all.

It isn't just blended whiskey I have tried I have had several (what others class as good) single malts, just not for me I dont think.

Perhaps its an age thing, I hated Brussel sprouts as a kid, but like them now, I wasn't keen on beer when I was younger but now love it, and couldn't stand cigars when I was younger.

Might try Whiskey when I'm 40 and see how it goes then

Sounds like you need a bottle of good still water, add it in small amounts until the burning is gone and the flavours appear.
