  • Rumfest 2014

Is anybody else looking at going to Rumfest this year? I've just booked the time off work and bought my tickets for what should be a hell of a weekend. I missed out last year but the selection they had looked great and their new golden token thing looks like a good way of getting to try some of the more premium rums there.

Would it make a difference to you guys if there were cigar events alongside?

I went last year. Was a good atmosphere and I think there was a cigar sampling 'class' outside run by cgars. I would buy the ticket that gave access to the premium area, we didn't and regretted it. I prefer to sip rum neat ( although I do mix cheaper ones) and the 'sipping' rums were in the premium area. Just my opinion.

That's a good thing, it was too cramped in the single excel space, had to fight to get to the bars last time. I've been to a teal ale show at earls court and it was a good space.
