  • Berry's red wine

Did anyone see what type of red wine was served at the 1a st James herf on Wednesday. I know it was berry brothers own red, but looked on the website and they have several own reds.

It was the bog standard Berry's House Red: http://www.bbr.com/products-3993-berrys-red-stelvin

For me, an excellent value red at ?7... been buying it by the case for years. Very consistent, a testament to both the producers and BBR in blending it just right. It's nothing special, but a very pleasant and versatile wine.

Thanks Simon, I thought it was good for 'house' red, especially now I know the price.

I have very limited space in the wine cellar (rack), otherwise I would have!
