Congratulations tommy! Great choice with the Lagavulin 16, definitely one of my favourite whiskies (and one of the bottles I always have to have in the cupboard). Enjoy the weekend, sounds perfect!

Got back from weekend away in Hereford earlier today, Internet was non existent. I'm really gutted to report that I didn't get on with the peat at all. I had to drive 15 miles to grab a safe bottle of the two woods instead. I can't say peat is my thing but the smokiness Is so I'm hoping that I can have one without the other in future. If anyone wants to trade an open but full (bar a small tasting) bottle of the Lagavulin 16 for something rich but not peaty I'd be keen.
