Thoroughly agreee Oskihen! Tesco have a Distillers reserve at the moment at ?55 I believe. The normal 15yo is usually ?35ish but occasionally its on offer for ?20 ?25. It's a lovely smooth malt.

It's my favourite over the years I've experienced loads of them but I'm more of a brandy and rum man now

I have a bottle of that. I'm thinking about trying some of their older offerings.

My favourite not so peaty ones:
    Dalmore 12 -mm. MMM. Citrus
Dalmore 15 -Less citrus. More wood.
Cragganmore 12- pear, apple, wood, man, and wood.
Jura Superstition- Iiquid wood and caramel. Followed by light peat on the finish.
Macallan 12 -amber, rosey, and oh so good.

Looking for a good single malt not too peaty for my old fellas Xmas budget approx 50 quid. I'm sure one of you guys can help me out here with some solid ideas.
