    Whisky advice

Glenmorangie is lovely, the boring old 10 year old is really nice. I love the floral quality to it.
Glenlivet 14 is nice but I found it a little bit boring. I would be happy to drink it again but there's so much else to try.

EDIT it was the 15 year old not 14! And to be fair I would buy it if on an offer.

I agree with VTG, there isnt much to go on. I'm not sure if money is something you are concerned about but it probably wouldn't be best to splash the cash on a fancy whisky. I'd stick to Lowland and Speyside malts if you don't know specifically what he likes. Some good whiskies which I?d recommend, and should be widely available, would include the following:

    Dalwhinnie
    Glenmorangie
    Balvennie
    Aberlour
    Old Pulteney
    Glenlivet
    Auchentoshan

Also, if you were interested in saving cash, this thread might be useful:

As there's not much info to go with I would stick with something completely inoffensive and more universally appealing like, Glenfiddich 15 or Glenmorangie 10 or perhaps somethig from Jura.
