I am a 59 year old git from Scotland who found this forum on the world wide web.

If this is how you greet all your "newbies" then I'm surprised you have a forum, sorry, but that's how I feel.

Would a "this is not the forum for talking about cigarettes" notice not be better than accusing me of being an internet troll?

I've admitted to smoking Marlboro before , + Players No6 & No10 also Woodbine, Navy Cut & God knows what else....

We all didn't start with perfect palates & most are still learning (Blind Tastings prove that!).

True, they aren't half as good as they were when I started them in the 60s but they are still a damn good smoke, as are Camel Blues after a cigar before bed.

i am with you on this one puff, come on guys until some one does some thing wrong lets give them a chance after all we have a pipe following on here should we ban that? i have no love of fags (not sure that came out right lol) but maybe we could guide them rather than stone them

Thanks for your kind words, as I am new, I wish not to be banned as this man said, but it would seem that cigarettes are a hot thing here on forum with little love from most.

I like some of them, but others not much, so I am happy to learn Cigar from you if there is help?

I have few cigars in life, and am keen to try. What would be good start Cigar that is not so much money but enough for start?

The big famous shop in Amsterdam is Hajenius, and I am saving my money for a shop there at the end of month, but am little scared as is VERY rich shop and I know little of cigars.

Do you guys have good idea as what is good starting cigar that I can buy there for not TOO much.

I have about 110 Euro by the end of the month for cigars, should I buy some good ones or box of cheaper to try?

Cigar smoking is not so popular now as before as smokers are bared from most places but some still do smoke in secret places.

Where do you smoke? Is it bared in UK or do they not do it same as here? Are there secret places in UK?

I am guessing this is not as nice a place as I thought, maybe is because I say cigarettes too that no one talk to me or answer my questions. I think this unfair.

I only ask for learning, and realise maybe my asking is not right for people here in this forum, as student here in Holland, no one else my age smoke cigar so difficult to learn what is good to buy to start.

Oh well I try, It clean that many here have very much knowledge about cigars, but not welcome people from other countries? If anyone here is kind to tell me forum or club in Holland or close what is better for learner that is not english?

Tell us a little more about yourself eg what are you studying? Where in Holland you are? What type of flavours do you like eg strong, medium, mild flavours. Your budget. Once we have some information I'm sure you will get some recommendations from the chaps on here.The common factor that brings everyone together here on this forum is the love and passion for cigars and everything else is built around that common factor. So lets start again and post an introduction about yourself.
