+1, they're one of my go-to smokes. I'm having a Boli BF tonight and it's superb so far (I'm only about a third of the way through but I've never had a bad one of these either.)Originally posted by jeepferret View Postnot had a duff one yet.

Imho the PE has been the best/most consistent regular Monte of recent years.Originally posted by jeepferret View PostJust finished a Monte PE. Another cracker, not had a duff one yet.

I know the question wasn't addressed to me but I'll share my thoughts anyway. IMO the Mag 46 is a fairly complex well-balanced cigar with classic Upmann flavours and the Mag 50 is too mild, bland and forgettable. I probably partly think this because I like corona gordas a lot more than double robustos, but it's also because the worst Mag 50 I've had tasted like cardboard and the best didnt taste of much at all. But that's just me - taste is subjective.

Fully respect your comments Crusse. It's subjectivity which makes our hobby and this forum so interesting. I normally have a Mag 50 as a daytime smoke, but if I am planning on having a bit of a herf like this evening, then I'll often have one to kick off with before moving onto a more powerful stick. Planning on moving onto a Party Salmones next...:-)Originally posted by crusse View PostI know the question wasn't addressed to me but I'll share my thoughts anyway.
