I have just opened a new box of Romeo Y juliet LE 2007,The highly sought after Romeo y Julieta Escudos are part of the Habanos Limited Edition 2007 release. Tapping the recent trend toward Gordito sized cigars, the Escudos are a robusto gauged cigar with a petit corona length. All the leaves of the rare Puro have been specially selected and meticulously aged for at least two years, qiute a full flavoured smoke, after about half an hour, beautifull smoke,i have just received one of the rarest smoke,s to get a hold of,there are only 200 boxes made of these Cuban's ever made,25 Bolivar LEGENDARIOS Exclusive for SWISS market, you will not find these anywhere, thank,s.
Just broke my (unwilling) cigar fast with one of the Chinchilero Piccadillos I've got shipped over to my hotel in Ireland. Settled down with a glass of Irish Whiskey(Powers Gold Label -its all right but I prefer a Scotch) outside with a co-worker and smoked the little bugger down to the last inch (the cigar, not the co-worker). For a 4" robusto I managed to get it to last 50 mins -even burn throughout and only dropped the ash twice.
Would describe the flavour as light -not a lot of smoke and very one dimensional flavour. If a cuban cigar is a complex picture this was a solid block of colour. but I enjoyed it anyway, and it was only ?3.50 after all.
Most importantly I really enjoyed myself. Unlike some of the fellas on here I only smoke about once a week so my cigar time is really special. Would give it 5/10.
