Had a good day yesterday, started with an Epi 2 watching the GP. Later on moved on to a Cohiba Robusto, and finished the day off with an SLR DC, a fantastic smoke

We are on the same page here Stevieboy, JL No2 Vs SD No4 is a non competition IMO.JL wins every time.

    I tell you what.

The JL No2 was A JOY TO HOLD IN THE HAND. There is something artistic, substantial, artisanal (darlings) about it.

It is a sensual stick and a half.
The pudginess of a real bastard of a cigar.

    I adore all that.

Yesterday (Sunday) I smoked a Juan Lopez No2 in the quiet of my garden. I'd never smoked a No2 before, and this cigar was beautiful. A glorious smoke.

In the afternoon, I smoked a FIRE (sent from Mexico) on the beach at Broadstairs with Nic. It was a substantial, long smoke. I did enjoy it - a fat show-offy cigar goes down well with me - but the JL No2 is on my mind and Havana-hungry mouth the day after.

I shall just have to step outside and indulge in another one. I can see a box order for some of these in the offing.

Finished a box of 2007 JLNo1 around three months ago Stevieboy;lovely things to smoke and as Corona Gorda is one of my favourite vitolas I was well pleased.

They definately are improved with age and I would imagine if you could track down a 2003 or 2004 box they would be superb.

    Happy Sunday, UKCF Amigos!

After two excellent puros todayI finished the evening with the fabulous Cohiba Siglo VI. Just wouldn't seem right to smoke anything less.

Happy Memorial Day, my amigos to the North!

well went to the cigar shop in brighton only to find an empty walk-in humidor with nothing left but nicaraguan toranos! bought one of them but its quite dry so leaving it to for a month or two. major disappointment!
tried an upmann coronas major which was very pleasant

If you like those two, I'd recommend trying a Bolivar Royal Corona if you haven't.
