My initial Renshi claimed to have trained under a Hanshi of Kito-Ryu, I have no way of validating his claim... Although it isn't beyond belief as he had close afiliations with Judo training also which would be a link to Kano Jigoro who was notoriously a student of Kito-Ryu.
For all intents and purposes it was generic UK taught JuJitsu. Later on I joined Lancashire constabulary and trained in what was most certainly Shorinji Kan Jitsu.

I have also dabbled in BJJ under a guy who trains under Braulio Estima.
