Today was a typical damp Spring Bank Holiday down south and I had the family round to celebrate my granddaughter's birthday so I had to wait till 6.30 for a smoke. There is something essentially British about sitting under a gazebo in the rain to have a cigar but a caramel latte was the perfect accompaniment for a H Upmann half corona and it was fun watching the birds feeding in the rain. The cigar was a decent enough smoke but didn't excite me.

PL PC for me, out in the warm sitting on my wall with a couple bottles of Cobra.

The PL was quite woody with some mild hints of cocoa.

To continue the theme of smoking in the rain, I sparked up a 5 Vegas torpedo, gifted from PeeJay.
Boy did this keep me waiting in the damp, rolled tightly but not too bad a draw, it took all of two hours to nub.

I had a Punch Churchill. Very old and very good! Up north with decent weather
