I see, firstly sorry for my badly spelled shurikren! The pig tail twisting is interesting, does it just open up a hole in the end then?
I have BHK on the way now, would you recommend the twist and go method for that or is it one for cutting?

With the others: do NOT twist it off. I give it a sexy lick to get 'er wet first. Then with two fingers, turn it to loosen it up. Suck on it, check the draw. If it's too tight, wet and twist some more. Still tight? A firm punching should set that straight.

This is just what I do for both ease and the nice thin smoke feel that I love. I never straight cut anymore for that reason.

You may enjoy a wider draw. So experiment for yourself

I find the pigtail twisting leads more tar build up. I enjoy it whilst it lasts. But during the final third, you'll feel the need to punch it off. That accompanied by a purge was excellent!!
