My first for a week or so.

Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure No. 2 - the ones bought back from Cuba for me. Only a couple of weeks in the humi but already seem lovely.

Cuban rum on the go too. 7 year aged of course.

      Padron corona yummie.................
I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!'

      The Dawg.

Washed down with Peroni; a much-needed cigar after a long week.

            It's Friday, Baby!

The Trinidad Reyes I had while skyping with senor brokenwing last night was soooooo goooood, that I had another first thing this morning. Currently I'm sitting outside watching the sun go down with a well aged Cohiba VI (2004)!!

Tomorrow, in solidarity with my brothers and sisters to the North as they celebrate their day of independance from you limeys , I will smoke one of my Sublimes...either the Cohiba or the Monty!

Life is good lads! Enjoy the Weekend!

So completely knackered at the moment - especially last night - that I zonked out and had neither a hot curry nor a glorious Friday night cigar.

Oh well. At least this is the weekend and there is time to catch up.

Any good? Pretty much all my mates said it was gash.

I had an unbanded NC on the drive to my lady yesterday. Not particularly good-I almost left it halfway.

After the barbecue, I had a Bolivar RC. This was quite a strange experience as I thought I'd put a RASS in my travel humi and didn't realise until I'd started smoking it! I'd intended to leave the RCs alone for a few months, but this one tells me they are coming along nicely.

If you're a fan of the comic (which I am...BIG TIME) then you'll be very, very happy with the adaptation. Somehow, pretty much everything is in there. The tone of the film matches the noir tone of the book. I was delighted TBH. Definitely the best adaptation of any comic I've ever seen (IMHO )

Saying that, I'm not sure how the gen-pub will take it but my wife enjoyed it and she's not a comics fan at all
