Started out with a Cusano robusto tubo, the new name for the Davidoff 3x3 apparently. This was a decent smoke, mild and a perfect burn, the ideal smoke for when you're socialising and not really noticing what you're smoking

Watching Jarhead 3 with half an hour to go when I finished this so lit up a Hoyo du Maire. It was just ordinary for the first third then the nuts kicked in and it was delicious

Not the best RP I have had. A little bitter and peppery to start. The middle was decent. The end got quite bitter.

Don't here that claim very often about Monte's , traditionally one of the more peppery and
stronger brands

For me monte 4s will always have a special place, it's the first Cuban I smoked and that bitter sweet unmistakable Cubanness is kind of a benchmark and the mould by which I judge other cigars. Over my short journey I've tried a lot and my tastes have evolved such that I am not looking to smoke a monte any time soon. But if I had a very good friend that wanted to try a cigar, I'd probably start them off with a monte 4.

Yesterday I smoked a Oliva v for the first time
can diffnetly say this is one I will be looking to
smoke again i peared this with a glass of Armagnac.
