Very interesting, Stevieboy. I thought the fresher the cigar, the better the smoke. Consequently, I would think a 31 year old cigar would be very stale and nasty, rather that smooth and tasty.

      I'm so confused!!!

I wasn't expecting to smoke today but when I got in at 9pm I was dragged next door for a party which lasted till 3am! Too dark for photos but I got through a Bolivar Lonsdale and a Joya Red that a friend gave me to smoke during the week.

Last night before dinner I enjoyed a Partagas D4, which atypically I found to be bit of hard work. The draw was very tight for about half the smoke but then it seemed to ease up and was just enjoyable. Feeling along the cigar it didn't feel more tightly wrapped towards the middle than the rest of the cigar.

After dinner, we enjoyed a Ramon Allones Superior. it started quite mild and smooth and matured into a much stronger flavour, a delicious smoke.

Didn't take pictures, my bad, I'll know for the next time.

I know I've mentioned it before and I don't mean to gush....but you guys take excellent photos of your cigars and cigar paraphernalia. Great photo, PeeJay...and in focus, too!
