It's my birthday! So I'm starting the day off with this RP Fusion Toro (bought from PeeJay last year) whilst clearing out the garage - not the greatest of ways to spend a birthday but better than being at work [emoji322]

Not a bad stick at all, one of the nicest RP's I've had and perfect for the situation.

Happy birthday Horsey, I celebrated your birthday with what in my opinion is the only modern Macanudo worth smoking

Thanks fellas. I toyed with the idea of heading out for an ale and another stick but the cold convinced me it was more a 'make some pickles, cook some chorizo and watch a zombie movie' kinda day.
PeeJay That's a fancy looking band. I've been reading about Macanudo brand in a book I got for christmas. I understand that it was held in quite high regard when they were made in Jamaica and used Jamaican tobacco. Have not tried either the old or new but a pal of mine seems to enjoy the modern sticks from time to time.

Indeed, a few of us have Jamaican Macanudos from the seventies courtesy of Simon Bolivar but the modern ones tend to be a bit bland.

What I caught from that was: ale, stick, pickle, chorizo, zombie flick, fancy band. Sounds like a good birthday to me (weather or no!)

                        :-)

PeeJay I remember the Jamaicans being offered on here. I dithered a bit too long and missed them. This is the book with a brief history of Macanudo

the pondering moose Cheers Moosey. Not a bad birthday at all, made even better when my wife returned home with a delicious cake from Pattiserie Valerie [emoji512]
