Por Larranga Sobrealientes. First one I've tried as I normally steer towards fuller flavour cigars but this was a wonderful smoke, very smooth and creamy. Took a photo but my laptop is playing up will post if I can clear the Gremlins

I got a quite a loud "I can still smell it, it's horrible" - so I herfed a bit harder, then put it away, then quite pointedly, but not aimed particularly, mentioned that I would have had no problem if someone had said please. This got a "I don't have to say please".

I then went into the caf? and asked the proprietor regarding their smoking policy, which turned out to be super positive within the law. The proprietor apologised, even though it was clearly not their fault.

I am not certain I'm a dick all the time, I think it's other people.
That's a shame you could enjoy your party MF...I thought it was a great smoke..Something box worthy for frequent smoke.

And moose you were too kind...With that type of attitude she was giving...I would have reminded her that shes near the smoking area and can move if it bothers her that much.

Tuesday was a Sir Win day. This one from a nearly fresh box. I smoked one when I got them mid 2016 and it was a bit of a poor show. This one is marvellous. Funny that these all seem to have this black ash.

I should have taken this pic of the fill before I chomped it to bits but the fill was flawless. A beautiful solid round cap and a beautiful wrapper. Smoking one of these makes one understand why aged boxes fetch so much in auction. I think Sir Win are possibly one of the best cigars I've had the pleasure to smoke including special editions and humidor releases. A really top notch cigar that every cigar fanatic should try at least once. Joy!

Thanks all for the positivity. I concur that nobody has to say please, but then nobody has to move. It just struck me as a "I'm sixty five, you're thirty five, ergo you must be a ruffian or a punk kid" thing. The first step to earning respect is just being polite, a pleasant older woman in the queue at a shop a bit down the road demonstrated this by begging my pardon whilst asking for a bottle of tonic water. I naturally responded that it was no problem at all. And the world turned with everyone not grumpy. And I write that as a pretty grumpy fellow.

Anyhow, yes, those Mille Fleur are really edging towards boxworthy if I go back to the continent soonish. Cheapish, cheerful, and cuban. And whilst JLP have come along a long way I think, Partagas are a notch or two up.
