First day off this week and first chance to smoke. I decided to try a Don Antonio Escogido maduro torpedo from my Martinez Cigars sampler box. I approached this with some trepidation as someone had a bad experience with one last week but this was a good smoke. As you can see from the ash the construction and burn was spot on. It was quite mild with just a pleasant hint of bitterness like unsweetened black coffee and a very clean aftertaste. Definitely worth a try if you're in NYC

Home for a long weekend. I've decided to fire up an LGC Inmenso. I have always found these to be consistently good..

The LGC looks great. I went straight online to see where I can get one, but no joy (our sponsors showed a box of 10 but out of stock). I found a thread here from 2011 which said they weren't available in the UK then. Do people know if they are to be be found anywhere here now? (Or are they only for the traveler brethren among us - including those from the Andrew, Sludgie?)

Looks like cgars have singles left if you were interested in trying one though
