As the first whisps of Ophelia's breath reach the South its 21 degrees out with a heavy sky and wind gusting up to 27mph. Warm enough for a smoke outside but I thought my ash might blow off!
got a selection of NC when I arrived in Florida on Sunday.
currently smoking a Nat Sherman Timeless Dominican Divinos.
humidity is sky high so burn is fairly poor, draw and construction good but taste is, very bland.
i tend to find high humidity smokes taste poorer but this is a disappointment

Wow, very strange, in the last third the subtlety of it came out. The flavour profile shifted rapidly and I started really enjoying it. Never have I noticed a shift from bad to good this significant.
maybe I have to give this one a bit of leeway and put some of my problems down to the humidity.
ill store these and give them a go later.
Anyway, for all yall info, I bought 4 other cigars
davidoff Nicaragua (smoked this before and loved it, bought 10 so no real surprise on this)
padron 1926 (smoked this first day, strong flavour, not as nice as the 64 unfortunately, needs some aging)
perdomo 10th anniversary champagne
Brick house robusto.
tommorow I shall pick one of the perdomo or brick house if anyone has a request?

as for the Davidoff, I'm waiting to savour those!
I'd like to hear your thoughts on the Perdomo mbro12
Smoking the perdomo as we speak and thoughts are.....fantastic.
im a fan of milder smokes and this hits it on the button. Nice and subtle with a razor sharp burn. I'm not one for pepper bombs or very dark chocolate cigars.
my 2 favourites ever are the ryj wide Churchill and the Davidoff Nicaragua, both medium smokes with great smooth flavours.
looking at buying a box of the perdomo before I leave.
