Partagas Short today, this is the first of a 50 cab dated May 16. The youngest cigar I've smoked in a while and it shows, although it's not particularly refined it's still a good hearty smoke for a chilly October afternoon.

No pic I'm afraid. Just finished, hopefully, the last cut of the year of the grass! So while I was cutting and bagging etc. an Inka blue PC. Can taste a bit spicy and peppery but the last couple of inches are best and pretty good thereafter. Nice finish on these.

I think I may finally have this CAD under control...

Well after a splendid morning having a long country walk and then blasting a few clays, it?s time to pick something suitable for this afternoon...and relax..[emoji4]

We had artificial grass installed this summer. The best money I've ever spent. Looks great and 0 maintenance... though a post like this makes me wish I had some grass to cut... great excuse for a smoke!

Can't wait to try the one I have resting. Is that Harris Tweed Sludgie?

No Sir, it?s a bespoke three-piece from GD Golding, a military tailor I use. Good to hold off as long as you can with the San Juans in my humble opinion, they benefit greatly from some age.

It looks superb, Sludgie, the quality is evident even from here.

Watching an old Audie Murphy western and enjoying my last 2009 Noella. I hope my 2013's will be as good as this one in a few years.

Ended the day with an Upmann Majestic with some company. Tasted a bit harsh. Perhaps it's an age thing!

Must try one of these... Is it anything like a Reyes?

Had a AVO Domaine 20 ND last night. I was taken in by the shape, but it was an awful stick! Not sure if I just got a dud but I let it go after halfway - was just not enjoyable.
